Dr. Schwartz's journey began in Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, inspired by her father's dedication as a family practice doctor. From a young age, she was captivated by the medical field and decided at just 10 years old that she would become a neurosurgeon. Her early experiences, combined with her education at Bryn Mawr College, forged a path that led her to become a top neurosurgeon specializing in pediatric neurosurgery, cerebrovascular surgery, and trauma.
